A tip to play triplets:
About the notation:
• I prefer the second notation, the 6/8 without the triplets.
To me a triplet is meant to be an exception in a piece, not to be used during the whole piece. A triplet is a 'little' rhythmic variation, a beautiful decoration in a piece that stands out because of its difference, as in many classical pieces like this one.
• The 4/4 should have been a 2/4. The 4/4 isn't totally wrong: you can replace 4 eights with a '3 eights triplet', but the notation is not common. Mostly the triplet replaces 2 eights.
